My love for gardening started at a young age with a passion for growing plants. Growing up in an apartment in a big city, I didn’t have access to a garden, so the first thing I remember trying to grow was… grass—inside a plastic container, in my very dark locker. That was my first lesson in gardening: photosynthesis.
Years later, I had the opportunity to work in agriculture, from vineyards and orchards to farms. I planned and planted gardens in rich soil, open air, and under the sun. While traveling the world, I met my wife, and together we studied permaculture design and biodynamic gardening principles. Before moving out of the city for good, we helped a friend set up a farm based on permaculture principles—an experience that gave us the confidence to find land of our own and start our homestead.
Seven years ago, we moved to our home in Northumberland, where we planned our own garden and began cultivating our own food. Since then, the garden has been in constant evolution, growing and changing as we continue to learn. Designed with organic, permaculture, and regenerative agricultural principles, it provides nourishment year-round and allows us to live in harmony with nature.
Now, I’m excited to help others bring their gardening visions to life. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refine your space, I offer expert guidance to make growing your own food simple, rewarding, and sustainable. A thriving garden isn’t just about plants—it’s about reconnecting with nature, building resilience, and experiencing the abundance that comes from working with the land.
If you’re ready to grow your own food but don’t know where to start, I’d love to help.
